Frames
Great Blue Heron build all upholstered frames in our factory to exacting standards. Our digitized frame patterns allow us to replicate frame after frame with little to no variance. All of our structural frame component are manufactured using exclusively hardwoods including poplar and oak. We glue and screw small corners together and use threaded through bolts on large frame components that are connected such as seat decks and arms. Our frames are heavy, square and solidly connected allowing for years of use and providing a solid foundation for our beautiful upholstery.
